Terms of Service

1. The deal

Lumina.AI is a service that takes a product image plus a brief and produces an AI-generated video. By signing up you get to use the service subject to these terms; if you don't agree, don't sign up.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for what happens under your account, including for keeping your password and API key private.
• One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts to evade rate limits or quotas.
• You must be at least 13 years old.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Lumina.AI to:

• Generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours (Hong Kong SAR).
• Generate non-consensual deepfakes, sexual content involving minors, or content depicting real people without their consent.
• Attack, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service. Don't try to defeat rate limits.
• Resell access to your account or share your API key publicly.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account for any of the above without prior notice.

4. Content you upload

You retain ownership of the product images and briefs you upload. By using Lumina.AI you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them for the purpose of generating your videos and supporting your account. We do not use your content to train models. 5. Content we generate for you

You may use the AI-generated videos for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. Note that the upstream models we call (Kling, Seedance, Claude, others) have their own usage terms; you are responsible for complying with those when using the outputs commercially.

6. Quotas and billing

• Free accounts get a small monthly quota (currently 1 video / month) for evaluation.
• Paid plans (Basic / Pro / Enterprise) provide larger quotas — pricing and Stripe integration are in development; current paid checkout flows may not be active.
• Unused quota does not roll over.

7. Service availability

Lumina.AI is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Generation latency depends on upstream model providers; we cannot guarantee specific turnaround times. We may take the service offline for maintenance with reasonable notice.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lumina.AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to a claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We can terminate yours for breach of these terms or for prolonged inactivity. On termination, your data is removed per the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Disputes go to Hong Kong courts.

11. Changes

We may change these terms; if so we'll email you and post the new version here. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
